Richard McNutt DB 6-0 175 Park Forest Rich East Great speed and athleticism. Top 100 player. 4.45 40 legit. Cover corner prospect.
Drew Carter WR 6-4 187 Solon, Ohio Played football as a freshman, but concentrated on basketball as a soph and Jr. Played as a Sr. and was a standout, grabbing 33 passes for 890 yards. Is a real sleeper that the coaches area very impessed with. Chose OSU over MSU, Colorado and all the MAC schools. Brother Grant is a wr at Minnesota.
Scott McMullen QB 6-4 195 Granville, Ohio As a junior threw for over 1000 yards, setting a school record for completion percentage (62%) with 14 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions. As a senior equaled that percentage of 62% on 118 of 191 for a whopping 2577 yards, 24 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions as Granville completed a 10-0 season. Chose OSU over Florida State, Pitt, Boston College, Michigan State and others.
Nate Stead FB 6-0 255 Marion, Ohio A true blocking fullback in the mold of Jamar Martin. Entered the OSU recruiting outlook late, but is the perfect kind of player to block for the Bucks talented stable of tailbacks. A blue collar player that doesn't mind doing the dirty work. Has a 2.1 GPA and a 27 on the ACT.
Rickey Bryant WR 6-1 165 Farmington Hills, Michigan Wide receiver from Michigan whose brother plays for the Wolverines. Chose Ohio State over Mchigan State, Wisconsin, Northwestern and Purdue.
Fred Sturrup DL 6-4 270 Fort Lauderdale Plantation, Florida One of the top DL line prospects in Florida and in the natation. EXTREMELY quick and an incredible physical specimen. Chose OSU over FSU, Miami, and others. Could play inside or outside, but will probably play outside at OSU.
* Maurice Harris WR 6-2 200 Jacksonville Raines, Florida Big receiver form Florida that has "Big Time" written all over him. 4.45 speed in the 40. Heavily recruited by the big boys. Chose Ohio State over Tennessee, Miami, and others. Major catch for the Buckeyes. Failed to qualify acaemically, and his whereabouts are unknown. Doubtful that he will ever be a Buckeye.
* Richard Hall RB 6-0 205 Cincinnati, Wyoming Major running back talent that was not recruitied heavily early because of grade problems, but grades look salvagable now. Sub 4.5 fourty speed. Rushed for over 2000 yards as a sophomore, junior and senior. Scored 32 TDs and averaged 11 yards per carry as a senior. Excellent speed but is deceptively strong as well. Impact player. One of the top RB prospects in the nation. Failed to qualify academically but enrolled at Ohio State. Has since left the University.
* Shawn Price LB     New Jersey The top LB prospect in New Jersey this year. Would probably have been at top 100 prospect, but grades leave a questionmark as to whether he will qualify. Most likely will end up at Fork Union. Failed to qualify academically but enrolled at a prep school in California.
Bryce Bishop OL 6-5 310 Miami, Florida Outstandng OL prospect that chose OSU over Florida State and Miami. Probably one of the top five linemen in the country. Has family in the Cleveland area and father is a big Buckeye fan. 5.1 40 time. Could see playing time early in his career.
