Phoenix Area Grandaddy of Bashes

For the 25th consecutive year all Buckeye fans in the Phoenix area are invited to watch all the games at Hanrattys's Bar on 7 St and Camelback. We take over the place (it's the only game on any tv) and a given Saturday there will be hundreds of Bucky loyalists.

Even the games not found on satellite, we bring in on closed circuit radio. It's loud, but its the closest thing to the Horseshoe out West

Tempe Bash for Buckeye Lovers

I would like to announce that every Saturday you can watch the OHIO STATE BUCKEYES at the best sports bar in the East Valley. This would be Doc & Eddies on the corner of Rural & Baseline right next to the Bank of America. Please help me change the crowds way of thinking. It is Pac Ten Country & The team up north. I am one of the very few but loud patriots that whole heartedly LOVE & WORSHIP the BUCKEYES.

Mesa Meeting Place - R.T. O'Sullivans

- on Southern Ave. between Alma School and Extension in Mesa. There are quite a few
buckfans there every saturday and they always have a large screen to show the Buckeyes
on. The food is absolutely delicous, the waitresses are cute as hell and they always have
good Bloody Mary's, since the game out here starts at 9:30 am. So please join your fellow
buckmates at R.T. O'Sullivans for beer and buckeyes.

Arkansas

Buckeyes Rock in Little Rock !

Best place to watch Buckeye games is the Embasy Suites Sports Bar in W. Little Rock. With 6 TV screens, the Buckeyes are always on. The only problem is the video jockey is an MSU fan. At least he likes the Big 10 and hates Nebraska and ND! There are usually 5-10 fans there with over 50 at the 98 OS-scUM game!

California

Orange County, Ca. has not one, but Two Buckeye Bashes

I am a Buckeye fan in Orange County California and every Saturday during football season me and about 20 or 25 other die hard Buckeye fans convene at "Out of Bounds" sports bar in Huntington Beach, California. If anyone in the area is interested, the bar is on Brookhurst and Atlanta in Huntington Beach. We pretty much own the place and the bartenders accomodate us nicely. Out of
Bounds is a loose bar with bargain food and drinks.

If someone is looking for a more conservative atmosphere (the language gets brutal at Out of Bounds) and wants to watch the OSU with other Buckeye fans than the National Sports Bar in Santa Ana is for them. It is a nice bar with great food and is absolutely jamed packed with Buckeye fans. In fact every Saturday the OSU fans have a whole section of the bar rented out to the OSU Alumni. The National Sports Bar is located at Main and McCarthur in Santa Ana.

Orange County Official Blast

Contrary to the information posted about Orange County, California, there is only one OFFICIAL meeting place where the Buckeyes go to watch all of the games this season and for the past five seasons: The National Sports Grill in the Hutton Center. The Hutton Center is located in Santa Ana, CA. The phone number at The National is 714-979-0900 for directions. The Orange County Alumni Club's hotline number is 714-578-1010 for the latest Buckeye info.

Crowds range between 120 - 350 Buckeyes per game. The place is an absolute sea of Scarlet and Gray. The latest Ohio State merchandise from College Traditions is available for purchase at all of the games. Buckeye fans begin to show up at least one hour before kickoff. Pregame atmosphere feels like a tailgate party and during the game you would swear you were at the stadium for all of the noise and excitement. Families are welcome and all ages are represented.

The National Sports Grill is the only real place to watch the Buckeyes weekly march to a National Championship.

· No more obnoxious Nebraska fans

Your OSU Alumni Club has heard all of your complaints about our previous
location and had heard dozens of suggestions for a new location. We scouted
out several sites (yes, it was hard work and dedication which got us through
the laborious task of going from bar to bar...) and have found one which met
our main criteria - metro access, food and drink specials for OSU fans,
close free parking, and a bar to call our own with no other groups to
compete with. We are excited to say that we have found all of these and
more at the Barking Dog! The owner of the bar, Jeff, has been very helpful
in organizing everything for this fall and is very exicited to play host to
all Buckeye Fans!

So that only our fans have access to the drink and food specials, you will
need to purchase and bring with you each week either our official OSUDC
Gamewatch Stadium cup for $3 or our Gamewatch T-shirt which will be sold for
only $15 (the price for the shirt also includes a stadium cup). All
proceeds from these sales will go to our scholarship fund to help send
deserving local high school students to Ohio State. Cups and shirts will be
available at the first gamewatch against Akron and at each successive game.

Here is the fall football schedule as of today:
Sat 09/08/2001 Akron Columbus, Ohio 12:10 PM ET
Sat 09/15/2001 San Diego St. Columbus, Ohio 12:10 PM ET
Sat 09/22/2001 UCLA Rose Bowl, Pasadena, CA 3:30 PM ET
Sat 09/29/2001 Indiana Bloomington, Ind. 12:10 PM ET
Sat 10/06/2001 Northwestern Columbus, Ohio 7:45 PM ET
Sat 10/13/2001 Wisconsin Columbus, Ohio 3:30 PM ET
Sat 10/27/2001 Penn St. State College, Penn. Time TBA
Sat 11/03/2001 Minnesota Minneapolis, Minn. Time TBA
Sat 11/10/2001 Purdue Columbus, Ohio Time TBA
Sat 11/17/2001 Illinois Columbus, Ohio Time TBA
Sat 11/24/2001 Michigan Ann Arbor, Mich. 1:00 PM ET

Members of the Alumni Club board will be there each week to handle the
raffle, make announcements, and help lead the OH-IO cheers after each score
(we are expecting a lot of cheers this year)! Many of our fans will be in
Columbus for the first game (we have over 100 people signed up for our
tailgate but still have a few ticket packages left) so we expect the real
crowds to begin with the San Diego State game.

I hope everyone is excited about the new location as I am. Its a new time
for Ohio State football (new coach, new stadium, new attitude) and now is a
great time to start a new Washington DC Buckeye Tradition at the Barking
Dog!

Go Bucks!!!

Big Apple Bucks Get together in Queens.

A group of Buckeye faithful have been getting together every Saturday during the fall to watch the games at the Olde Forge Tavern in Bayside. Nothing planned or formal - for the past six years it just seems as though pizza, beer, peanuts and Buckeye football at the Olde Forge always hit the spot.

Due to prior commitments (the WVU roadtrip and two Buckeyes tying the knot on the same day as the Toledo game) our first Saturday at the Forge will be Sept. 19th.

Check it out - The Olde Forge Tavern, 35th Avenue and Bell Blvd. in Bayside.

North Carolina

Charlotte Bash!

The alumni club gathers at Champps on Woodlawn Road in the Park Road Shopping Center, as the Scoreboard on Independence was closed several years ago. At Champps, we have a reserved
section for the Buckeyes in front of the Big Screen TV, full sound, Scarlet and Gray decorations, the TBDBITL playing during key moments, a half time raffle of Buckeye Merchandise, and tons of great alumni cheering the Bucks on! It is THE place to get together for BUCKEYE BASHES in Charlotte!

Triangle Region!

We use to meet at Champ's Sports Bar but they went out of business last year. We are currently looking for an alternate place here in Raleigh but until we find one I will be watching the games at BW3's in Chapel Hill's. GM Jim Couch serves up some great food and does his best to accommodate us transplanted Scarlet & Gray followers. Go Bucks!!!

BW-3 CHAPEL HILL!!!

I'm the general manager and I ran the Woodruff Store (original store) on the OSU campus. You will find TBDBITL on the juke box and my Block "O" hand proudly in the heart of ACC/SEC country. Welcome one and all on game days.

Raleigh/Cary Triangle region of North Carolina:

The ACC is a joke football wise. Real football fans watch the Buckeyes at Playmakers on
Hillsborough Street across from Meredith college, (great atmosphere and other big ten fans will be there, the OSU-Purdue game was like being in the stadium with each side of the room erupting each time a team scored)

Go Bucks and God bless the O-zone!

Pinehurst Party!

In the Pinehurst area of North Carolina we always get a huge influx of Buckeye golfers in the fall. By some process akin to salmon swimming upstream, we all seem to find our way to the Carolina Sports Page to watch the games. It is not uncommon, on any Saturday of the fall, for over half of the seats in the pub being filled with scarlet and grey, rabble rousing BUCKEYES!!

Charlotte

Hey guys! My name is Todd Slone and am a huge Buckeye fan who is located in Charlotte, NC. I am also the General Manager of the largest sports grill in Charlotte, Jocks & Jills. We are owned by a bunch of ex-NBA players as well as TNT Sport's Craig Sager. We have over 100 TV's with 20 of them being 61" bigscreens. I would like to get the word out that I would love to host Buckeye Bashes each and every week. Just to let you know about previous updates on Charlotte, the Scoreboard no longer exist. The other places to watch the Bucks are Coach's in Pineville, Champp's on Park Rd.(tough place to watch a game with sound because it's a big open room with other groups and games going on at the same time. Of course I'm biased, but I truly believe Jocks & Jills is the best place to cheer on the Bucks! Plus I run the place so I know OSU will be taken care of.

Portland

Here in Portland, Oregon there is a sports bar called Mickey Finn's that is located on
Woodstock Rd. (might be Blvd. in stead of Rd.) near Reed College. It is frequented by the Ohio Staters club in this area and they are the only place in town where I can be assured to see a Buckeye game not nationally tellivised in this area. There is a large screen T.V. in the back where most Buckeyes meet, but it is for 21 and older only. However there are several small T.V.s in the
front and they will happily put the game on for you there. This place is clean and friendly so its perfect for families.
