Prahalis Named Big Ten Player of the Week

OSU sophomore point guard Samantha Prahlis has been named the Big Ten Player of the week.
Prahalis led Ohio State to a pair of wins last week, keeping the Buckeyes atop the Big Ten standings with a three-game lead.
The sophomore averaged 24 points, 9.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals as Ohio State recorded an 86-82 home win over Iowa on Thursday before notching an 86-73 win on the road against Penn State on Sunday.
Prahalis also combined to go a perfect 15-for-15 from the free-throw line and shot 70 percent from behind the arc.
She recorded her seventh double-double of the season on Sunday with 26 points and 12 assists, helping her squad battle back from a 15-point deficit.Prahalis connected on a career-high 5-of-6 from long range in the game, helping the Buckeyes record a conference-record 17 threes in the contest.
The weekly honor is her fourth of the season and of her career.
