Bengals kicker Mike Nugent has been almost perfect this season.

Nugent didn’t do anything special during Cincinnati’s 31-24 loss to Baltimore on Sunday – he converted all three of his extra points and his only field goal attempt from 27 yards – but his season numbers rank him among the elite placekickers in the NFL.

Nugent’s only miss this season among his 19 field goal attempts came on a 43-yarder as the homestanding Bengals defeated the Colts 27-17 in Week 6. Nugent’s field-goal percentage of 94.7 ranks him fourth in the NFL among kickers who have more than one attempt.

Nugent, who played for Centerville High School, made his season-long field goal from 48 yards in a 34-12 Bengals’ win at Seattle.

No other players merited consideration for the top Buckeyes in the NFL in Week 11.
