Play for Pay Report- Week Ten
By Matt Croskey

Weekly Awards

Offensive Player of the week: An unusual award this week but Nick Mangold deserves some recognition. The Jets O-line had a great game against the NFL’s third-ranked run defense as the Jets relied on short gains and long sustained drives. They also handed NE consecutive losses for the first time in 57 games.

Defensive Player of the week: AJ Hawk again had a monster game. He compiled some great stats and his play of the game was a jarring hit at the goal line that led to a fumble. Minnesota recovered but it showed that AJ is already an NFL caliber player.
